Our pamphlet collection includes items published from the seventeenth century onwards. The collection covers a wide range of topics including reports, from hospitals, and societies, as well other topical pieces on a variety of subjects. (See below). The majority concern theology and matters relating to Ireland. Most of the pamphlets published before 1900 have been bound into approximately 800 volumes. Older pamphlets are stored in a room away from the main library and can be consulted on a reference only basis in reading room one. To see these older pamphlets, please email or phone the library to make an appointment. Library members can borrow selected pamphlets published after 1900. All unbound pamphlets from the 1900s to the present and some older pamphlets are searchable on our catalogue: http://libcat.union.ac.uk/heritage/ A paper-based catalogue and card catalogue of pamphlets are available in the library to help locate other older pamphlets.
