New exhibition – Translating the Truth

A new exhibition entitled Translating the Truth is now on in the Gamble Library. The exhibition provides a history of Bible translation through the  centuries, highlights some notable translations and identifies some of the challenges faced by those involved in translation projects. Details of key organisations and individuals involved with the task of Bible translation are identified.  The Northern Ireland Offices of Wycliffe Bible Translators and the Bible Society kindly supplied several items for the exhibition. Everyone is welcome to view the exhibition, take some of Wycliffe’s and the Bible Society’s leaflets, and see how they can be involved in this, as yet unfinished task.
